Sentara Princess Anne Hospital is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Intensive Care Unit

Department/Position Overview:
We are currently seeking Registered Nurses for our Beacon Award winning 16 bed Medical/Surgical Intensive Care Unit. The most common diagnosis on this unit are myocardial infarctions, life-threatening dysrhythmias, cardiac post-procedures, gastrointestinal bleeds, acute respiratory distress, vascular surgeries and general surgeries with complications.

This is a part time, 24 hours per week position. A minimum of 6 months medical surgical experience is required. One year of Critical Care or two years Intermediate Care experience strongly preferred.

New Hire Education Requirement: All Registered Nurses who do not have their BSN will be required to sign a BSN Agreement committing to successfully obtain their BSN within 5 years of hire. BSN or MSN preferred. Meets and maintains any requirements defined by specific specialty; Critical Care - ACLS within 1 year of hire; All Direct Care RN's required to have BLS within 90 days of hire.
