Sentara Medical Group Staff Support Services is hiring a Clinical Lab Assistant to cover various locations, as needed, across Hampton Roads and North Carolina.

This position is PRN, to work as needed.


Sentara Laboratory Services is a team of more than 700 Clinical Laboratory Professionals that service 12 hospitals and the communities around them in the Virginia and Northeastern North Carolina region.

Sentara Medical Group's care teams and patients are supported by dedicated, skilled, patient focused Laboratory staff.

Our Clinical Lab Assistants perform caring, patient focused phlebotomy services and collects, labels, and processes specimens for testing, as well as registration and data entry. Our star candidate will have completed a phlebotomy program or have a minimum of one year of phlebotomy experience and will hold a high school diploma or equivalent. Sorry, we cannot consider new graduates for this positions. Top candidates will hold a BLS certification or will secure it within 60 days of hire.
