Cybersecurity Enterprise Analyst, Mid

Key Role:

Serve as a trusted Cybersecurity subject matter expert with a focus on enterprise architecture (EA) design, engineering, and implementation to support a senior DoD client. Build new and iterate on existing enterprise architectures and supporting technical documentation to provide targeted Cybersecurity capability implementation guidance to DoD components. Review existing and planned information systems and networks for potential vulnerabilities and provide recommendations to prevent, mitigate, or remediate potential security risks. Track security implementation efforts across Combatant Commands, services, and agencies to support the warfighter and promote a Joint enterprise of information systems and networks. Communicate complex technical requirements to senior government officials and high-ranking military personnel in the form of briefings and technical whitepapers. Support the acquisition process by identifying gaps in both current and planned enterprise architectures. Coordinate meetings with vendors to assist with potential integration of their products into the DoD enterprise. This position requires working full-time on the client site and is located in Arlington, VA.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with supporting DoD customers as a Cybersecurity subject matter expert, including providing guidance for the design and implementation of security for enterprise networks, data centers, or commercial Cloud services, such as IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS

-2+ years of experience with enterprise architecture development or implementation

-2+ years of experience in working with DoD Cybersecurity policy and instruction, including DoDI 8500, DoDI 8510, DoDI 8530, CJCSM 6510, NIST SP 800-37, NIST SP 800-53 and 53A, NIST SP 800-30, NIST SP 800-122, and CNSSI 1253

-Experience with reviewing and translating complex network implementations into technical and non-technical uniform architectural depictions for leadership

-Active TS/SCI clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with the DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF) or other standard architectural frameworks

-Experience in working with other DoD and national agencies

-Experience with using DoD STIGs or a national agency's capability packages

-Knowledge of the proper implementation of the following capabilities within a network architecture: firewalls, intrusion prevention or detection systems, the Web Content Filter, cross-domain solutions, packet capture, anomalous network behavior detection, security information event management, data loss prevention, session border controllers, and application whitelisting

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-CISM or CISSP Certification

-Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) Certified Network Defense Architect (CNDA), Amazon Web Services (AWS) Certification, Microsoft Azure Certification, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or related technical certification
