Transportation Engineer / Planner (Full-Time) - Town of Vienna, VA (DOQ):  Join our Vienna Team!  The Town of Vienna is a vibrant community in Fairfax County, about 15 miles west of Washington, DC. 

The Transportation Engineer / Planner, coordinates Public Works and transportation/traffic-engineering activities with other departments, divisions, agencies, consultants and developers, and handles the implementation of all transportation improvement projects and studies.

The Transportation Engineer / Planner works closely with Planning and Zoning to support transportation planning.

To apply, you must have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or closely related area; six years administrative or managerial experience, most of which is preferred to be in the area of transportation planning and engineering, or closely related experience, and a valid driver’s license.  

A Professional Engineer (PE) License is required for Engineer II.  For Engineer I, a PE is not required.
