IBM Associate Partner, Insurance: Cognitive Process Re-Engineering in Bethesda, Maryland Job Description IBM Global Business Services (GBS) is currently seeking an Associate Partner (AP) with deep expertise in Insurance and demonstrated success in business development and engagement delivery. Underwriting, Group, Life, Policy, Product and Risk Management, and Claim in Property & Casualty are domains of interest. The IBM GBS Insurance Cognitive Process Re-Engineering Practice is a team of strategy, industry experienced, operational and technology consultants who collaborate with our clients to envision their future as cognitive enterprises. This is a growing practice focused on people, process and technology for the industry. The AP will have responsibility to assist with solution offerings within a domain; contribute to practice development and people management; and, create strategies and implement plans to achieve pipeline/revenue objectives. The Associate Partner brings thought leadership and understands the business challenges of clients and through working with practice executives, clients and IBM staff, will develop and deliver solutions to those challenges to contribute to our growth. Responsibilities include * Serve as a member of the practice leadership team, contributing to strategy, practice development, offering development and talent management * Contribute to thought leadership and point of view materials aligned with select domain * Build senior line of business client relationships and a business pipeline of opportunities * Maintain business controls for pipeline reporting and signings/revenue forecasting * Achieve personal signings, revenue and utilization objectives, in alignment with practice objectives * Understand client needs and industry trends and develop winning proposals, applying IBM's consulting and technology/data capabilities * Translate winning proposals into referenceable client project delivery - leading medium to large project teams with responsibility for overall successful delivery * Maintain high client satisfaction by exceeding expectations and delivery excellence; build strong delivery teams with predictable performance * Inspire and mentor our consultants, with a focus on building expertise our clients value, external brand eminence and accelerating career advancement of strong/top performers * Work with delivery organizations to ensure staffing/talent strategy and investment is aligned with account growth and strategy * Reflect IBM's core values every day, in all interactions - internal and external Northeast, Midwest and West Coast locations are highly preferred (New York/Boston/Atlanta/Chicago/Dallas/Cincinnati/ Milwaukee and West Coast), but all locations will be considered.
