    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  High School diploma with at least seven (7) years of experience in a court, or legal office, which includes one (1) year of supervisory experience or successful completion of the DC Courts’ Management Training Program.

    Experience with prisoner management and movement procedures- i.e, Lockup List, fugitives is preferred.

    Graduation from the Courts’ Management Training Program may substitute for one (1) year of supervisory experience. You must provide documentation of your management training (i.e. copy of certificate) with your application.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Preferred applicants will have an associate's degree or higher in legal studies, business, public, or human resources administration or a closely related field with three (3) or more years of experience in a court, or legal environment, plus two (2) or more years of supervisory experience.

    To qualify based on education, upload copy of  your college transcript or degree. The transcript must show the name of the college or university, your name, list of courses with credit hours, major(s), and grade-point average or class ranking.

    Foreign Education: Education completed outside the United States must have been evaluated by a private U.S. organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign educational credentials, commonly called a credential evaluation service or education to meet the above requirements.

    This job is being filled by an alternative hiring process and is not in the competitive Federal civil service.

    Please note there is a mandatory one year probationary period for all non-judicial new employees.
