  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance based on a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) with eligibility for access to sensitive compartmented information (SCI).
  • In accordance with Change 3 to AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, employee must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
  • Temporary Duty (TDY) business travel is required 10% or less of the time.
  • In accordance with AR 600-50, incumbent is required to file on a yearly basis a Statement of Employee and Financial Interest (DD Form 1555) and OGE-450 Confidential Financial Disclosure.
  • Financial Management Level 1 Certified position designated as such in accordance with the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA)2012,Public Law 112-81,Subtitle F-Financial Management,section1051,amending 10 United States Code,section1599d.
  • Incumbent is required to comply with all Department of Defense and Department of the Army requirements of the Financial Management Level 1 certification program.
  • Financial Management Level 1 Certification requirement is a condition of employment for this position. Failure to obtain certification within the required time may subject the incumbent to adverse action.

    In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.     Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) Applying knowledge of Program Planning Budget Execution Management Information System (PPBSMIS) or equivalent sufficiently to analyze, evaluate, and integrate funding requirements with material acquisition program areas; 2) Applying knowledge of financial life-cycle management, structure and policies sufficient for budget formulation and execution; 3) Analyzing financial data sufficient to evaluate existing program, funding authority and problem transactions in order to provide decision support; and 4) Applying knowledge of analytical and evaluative methods sufficient to conduct extensive cost studies. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service NH-02.

    Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.

    The pay band for this positions, if the qualifications of the applicant selected for the vacancy exceeds the minimum required, placement salary maybe adjusted higher to commensurate with those qualifications.
