"Assistant Professor of Mathematics: Analysis (Tenure-Track)

The George Mason University, Department of Mathematical Sciences in the College of Science (COS), located in the vibrant Washington, D.C., area, invites well-qualified candidates to apply for a nine-month, Tenure-Track Assistant Professor position starting the Fall 2019 semester. Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be expected to teach at both the undergraduate and graduate levels; support the department's PhD program in Mathematics; and provide service activities to the department, college and university.

Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a Ph.D. degree by 25 August 2019, and must have strong records in both research and teaching.

Preferred Qualifications: Candidates currently with postdoctoral appointments are preferred. Strong preference will be given to candidates in Analysis and whose research interests align with those of the department.
