We are looking for a Salesforce Developer who will serve as a System Administrator and a Developer accountable for maintaining and enhancing the Salesforce platform; conceptualizing, communicating and validating potential solutions; and providing guidance to the development team and business stakeholders. Incumbent will develop business strategies to introduce new features to internal and external customers on the Salesforce platform in accordance with industry standards. He/she will also be responsible for creating lists of product development features and system upgrades as it relates to Salesforce implementation and the downstream systems that Salesforce components interact with.
  • Acts as a the go to for Salesforce architecture, development, configuration, integration, and customization of fields, objects and workflows.
  • Develops customized solutions within the Salesforce platform to support critical business functions and meet project objectives, client requirements and company goals.
  • Gathers requirements for new features or processes that involves Salesforce or the downstream products that demonstrate value to internal and external users.
  • Maintains technical documentation of Salesforce data model and any installed products, processes, workflows, and/or email templates.
  • Conducts routine checks of the system to ensure the system is operating at its peak.
  • Supports the Agile development process, ensuring the final product solves the defined problems in a way consistent with the agreed upon solution.
  • Assists with training and support to the Customer Support Center.
  • Works with the Systems Team to triage production issues.
  • Performs other duties and assignments associated with the position that are reasonably assigned to support the overall needs of the business.

This position reports to the Senior Manager, Development and typically requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 5 years of experience in Software Engineering practices; consulting experience is desirable. Must have a minimum of 3 years of SFDC development experience. Experience in Lightning development work, preferably lightning component is required. Must have experience with Apex, VisualForce and JavaScript. Experience with Salesforce APIs, SOAP, REST, BULK, META DATA is required. Working knowledge of 3rd party integrations and Appex change packages is also needed.
Incumbent must have the ability to understand clients business needs and identify solutions to address those needs. Must have the ability to effectively manage resources to address competing priorities. Must be able to multi-task and troubleshooting daily problems. Ability to exercise discretion, independent judgment, and vision is needed. Must be able to work effectively in a variety of situations; demonstrating good work habits, flexibility and initiative. Must be skilled in working with both customers and technical staff with a high degree of professionalism. Must have the ability to foster a positive work environment, as well as serve as the Bright subject matter expert on Salesforce. Must have strong problem-solving, analytical, planning and organizational skills. Attention to detail is a must. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) is required.
