The MIL Corporation seeks a budget analyst to support a Federal Government client at our Arlington, VA location. The analyst will work in cooperation with the Global Financial Service Support (GFSS) budget team for the Global Financial Management System (GFMS).

  • Support agency use of budgeting and accounting systems, including testing interfaces and reconciling budget data
  • Provide customer service to agency user community
  • Perform system assurance and reconciliation between budget formulation system and accounting system
  • Maintain and monitor agency use of Central Accounting Reporting System (CARS)
  • Maintain and monitor agency use of Governmentwide Treasury Account Symbol Adjusted Trial Balance System (GTAS)

Required Qualifications
  • 3 years of analyst experience
  • Bachelors degree in a business related field
  • Experience with federal budgeting and reporting process
  • Experience with financial systems
  • Experience working within a dynamic team environment
  • Very good communication and customer support skills

Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with CARS and/or GTAS, TAS-BETC
  • Experience with Momentum Financials or Performance Budgeting
