  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • TOP SECRET/SCI CLEARANCE - You must be able to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET security clearance based on SSBI with eligibility for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).
  • DRUG TESTING -This position is a testing designated position (TDP) in accordance with (IAW) Drug Free Federal Workplace Program. You will agree to submit to urinalysis testing on a recurring basis. You are required to sign a DA Form 5019 form.
  • POLYGRAPH - You must be willing to take and successfully pass a Counterintelligence Scope Polygraph (CI/Poly).
  • TDY - Requires approximately 25% TDY (temporary business travel).
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain access to NSA and Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) accredited facilities and networks [Military Affairs Desk Officer (MADO) Security In-Processing (SIP) process].
  • This is a Mission-Essential (ME) position and is occupied by an agency designated Emergency employee.
  • Must complete a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE Form 450, upon appointment in the position and thereafter, annually.
  • Successful completion of Unit Antiterrorism Advisors Course (Level II Antiterrorism Training) is required.
  • Overtime and shift work may be required on short notice to include nights, holidays, and weekends.
  • Participation in the DOD/DA Immunization program to include live vaccinations as required by DOD/DA policy.
  • Employee may be required to wear an electronic pager/blackberry and maintain a working telephone/cellular at all times

    In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience.

    To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as: assisting in the collecting, evaluating, and analyzing raw/finished intelligence products concerning criminal or terrorist threats; understanding the methodology of criminal threats within the Area of Responsibility; Understanding Criminal Investigation Activities, Criminal Investigation Operational Procedures and other Criminal Investigation Division regulations pertaining to investigative programs, policies and procedures; developing criminal intelligence reports. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).

    Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).

    Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.

    • Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
