Corporate Finance/Forecasting Lead

Key Role:

Serve in a lead role in the firm's Corporate Forecasting group. Manage a team of 2-3 staff supporting Booz Allen's monthly firmwide forecasting activities. Track, understand, and explain operational and financial drivers of company performance. Provide critical insights and strategic analyses on company growth and operational trends for the company's broader finance organization, C-suite, board, and external investors. Build, maintain, and quality control new and existing P&L-oriented financial models and act as a subject matter expert on revenue and expense drivers, including headcount, billability, billing rates, depreciation, and tax. Collaborate with a variety of teams throughout the firm to answer business critical questions from Booz Allen's CEO, CFO, and business unit leadership.

Basic Qualifications:

-7+ years of experience in a financial planning and analysis (FP&A) or corporate forecasting role

-2+ years of experience at a government services contractor in a finance role

-Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), including he income statement from revenue to net income and non-operating items, such as depreciation, interest, and tax

-Ability to show expertise in Excel-based financial modeling

-Ability to show expertise in analytical work and strict attention to detail

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Ability to show expertise in 3-statement modeling a plus

-Ability to show professionalism, reliability, resourcefulness, and flexibility

-Ability to work in a team and independently

-Ability to maintain strict privacy of confidential information

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
