  • Must be enrolled as a degree - seeking student.
  • Must commit to a minimum of 12 hours per week.
  • Must have a GPA of 3.0 or better.
  • To qualify for this position, you must submit the following:

    1. Résumé
    2. Completed Vacancy Questionnaire
    3. Documentation /Proof of Education (copy of unofficial college transcript or degree)

     Submission of all required documentation is a must by the closing date of the announcement.

    Applicant must be a U.S. Citizen or authorized by Immigration and Naturalization Service to intern in the U.S and at least 18 years old.

    Applicant must be enrolled in an undergraduate program or attending a graduate or law school program.

    The student must be in good standings at their university with a GPA of 3.0 or better.

    The student must be able to commit a minimum of 12 hours per week throughout the summer.

    The incumbent should be an enthusiastic and engaged professional who enjoys working with a diverse group of Court personnel and customers and lives the DC Courts' values of Accountability, Excellence, Fairness, Integrity, Respect and Transparency.

    Please note that authorization for the release of your adult criminal record revealing any convictions and forfeitures, and any criminal cases currently pending before the courts are required.  If you are selected for the position, a criminal history records check will be conducted.  

    To qualify, upload a copy of your unofficial transcript. The transcript must show the name of the college or university, your name, the list of courses with credit hours, major(s), and grade-point average or class ranking.

    Education must be from an accredited institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. Applicants should report only attendance from accredited institutions. Applicant can verify accreditations at the following website: http://ope.ed.gov/accreditation/Search.aspx

    This is an unpaid internship.  All required information must be received by the closing date.
