Specialized experience for the GS-12 level:
To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience at the GS-11 or equivalent level, which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as: Participate in intra- or inter-agency teams and task forces related to regionally or nationally significant issues and projects regarding public lands and waters. Assist in the development and analysis of operational policies at public lakes and reservoirs. Assist in the development and application of quantitative and qualitative methods to address regional or national issues in management of public lakes and reservoirs.

Time in Grade Requirement GS-12: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
