Applicants must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 grade level.
Specialized experience is defined as experience providing expert advice to program officials, accountants, financial analysts, and other specialists on the interpretation and evaluation of financial regulations; participating in financial systems requirements analyses and systems design, including solving any significant problems; providing guidance and leadership to develop and maintain a cost effective system of management and financial controls necessary to compile accurate and reliable financial information; and assessing the impact of proposed financial systems features on major systems development or modification efforts.

TIME IN GRADE REQUIREMENT: If you are a current federal employee in the General Schedule (GS) pay plan and applying for a promotion opportunity, you must meet time-in-grade (TIG) requirements of 52 weeks of service at the next lower grade level in the normal line of progression for the position being filled. This requirement must be met by the closing date of this announcement.
