BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

A. Degree: that included or was supplemented by major study in education or in a subject-matter field appropriate to this position;

OR

B. Combination of education and experience -- courses equivalent to a major in education, OR in a subject-matter field appropriate to the position, PLUS appropriate experience OR additional course work that provided knowledge comparable to that normally acquired through the successful completion of the 4-year course of study described in A above.

IN ADDITION to meeting one of the basic entry qualifications requirements listed above, you MUST have at least 1 year of specialized experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position.  This experience is related to the work of the position and equivalent to at least the GS-13 level in the Federal service.  Qualifying experience must demonstrate the following:

• Experience in delivering multi-day training programs on leadership and management topics at the senior executive level; developing educational curriculum related to leadership and management at the senior executive level; designing courses, modules, and workshops that incorporate adult education principles and experiential learning techniques; writing course designs, course materials, student resource materials, educational aids, and similar educational materials; evaluating training, analyzing evaluation data, writing reports, and developing recommendations.
• Experience in using blended learning; applying educational technology and computer-based training.
• Experience in facilitating organizational development interventions: discussions, meetings, retreats/off sites, etc.; providing individual coaching at the senior executive level.

There is no substitute of education for specialized experience for the GG-14 position.
