In order to qualify for this position, applicants must meet the following:

At the GS-09 Level: Applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 grade level. Specialized experience is defined as: analyzing, evaluating and performing limited research to provide reports and documents to attorneys on legal matters; providing support for program planning and analysis activities; using integrated reporting systems.

You can qualify based on education for the GS-09, if you have completed:

•    Related master's for equivalent graduation degree

•    2 full years of related, progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree, or

•    LL.B or J.D., if related. A combination of specialized experience and graduate level education that meets 100% of the qualification requirements described above.

At the GS-11 Level: Applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-9 grade level. Specialized experience is defined as: analyzing, evaluating and researching electronic databases to provide reports and documents to attorneys on legal matters; providing support for program planning and analysis activities; using integrated reporting systems; evaluating program efficiency and effectiveness; interpreting the impact of regulations and policies on administrative programs; reviewing information and developing analytical reports with recommendations; utilizing project management.

You can qualify based on education for the GS-11, if you have completed:

•    Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or

•    3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree, or

•    LL.M., if related. A combination of specialized experience and graduate level education that meets 100% of the qualification requirements described above.
