Assistant / Associate / Professor of Psychology

Frostburg State University, Department of Psychology, seeks applications for a full-time, tenure track faculty position in Clinical/Counseling Psychology. Position to begin Fall 2019.  Faculty rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications, experience and university guidelines. Position includes University System of Maryland benefits package.

Responsibilities: Teaching in the undergraduate and graduate psychology programs (12 credits per semester): Introduction to Counseling (1-2 sections), Internship Seminar (1-3 sections), Individual Assessment, and a course to be determined.  Oversight of the Psychology Undergraduate Internship Program.  Student advising and possible mentorship of Psi-Chi. Should show a commitment to sponsoring research, fostering a climate accepting of students from diverse backgrounds, and integrating multicultural issues into courses. 

Minimum Qualifications: Doctorate in Counseling/Clinical Psychology, preferred from an APA-accredited program.  License eligibility in the State of Maryland as a Psychologist or LCPC.  Commitment to excellence in teaching. The successful candidate must have a commitment to diversity, inclusion and civic engagement.
