Specialized Experience -
Specialized experience is defined as one year of experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the private sector managing a team of financial or audit professionals working on multi-employer plan matters, union pension-related matters, as well as Federal, state and/or municipal matters involving retirement issues. Examples may include managing the work of a division, planning and adhering to organizational policy, coordinating financial matters under a program, providing advice to corporate officials and staff, and coordinating the review and processing of multi-employer applications, cases, and audits.
Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
