Job Announcement

Get PAID to Play!!! Creative, high-energy motivated candidates wanted for seasonal positions in the Fairfax County Park Authority Rec-PAC summer camp program. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of background check, certifications in First Aid/ CPR and attending staff training.

Duties include:
  • Facilitates daily activities and assists with site program planning.
  • Works with a group of campers.
  • Ensure health and safety of campers at all times
  • Provide immediate first aid treatment to campers in distress as needed
  • Participate in staff training prior to start of camp
  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Maintain professional attitude and image at all times


Employment Standards

Prerequisites for the Rec-PAC staff:
  • Be first aid and CPR certified by the first day of staff training.
  • Provide documentation of negative TB test results
  • Must attend one of the Rec-PAC open hire
Rec-PAC Open Hire Dates:
  • April 9th 5-8 Fairhill ES
  • May 15th 5-8 Oak View ES
  • May 23rd 10-1 Herrity
  • June 1st 2-5 Providence RECenter
  • June 4 5-8 Oakton ES
  • June 11th 10-1 Herrity
