Under general direction, provides administrative management and direction to the Case Management/Social Work/ Utilization Review department. Establishes goals, objectives and
standards of performance. Develops and implements operating policies and procedures; interprets and ensures compliance with policies, quality standards, regulations, established by Rehabilitation as they relate to Case Management and Utilization Review based on LOS, final rule, and BOOST initiatives.

The manager must be familiar with CMS regulatory requirements for acute rehabilitation, IRF-PAI data collection, clinical skills to assist other Case Managers with determining medical necessity for continued stay, and opportunities to decrease 30 day readmission rates.

Qualifications:
Inpatient rehabilitation or acute care case management experience
Licensed as a social worker or preferably a registered nurse

Work Schedule:

Works 5 days per week
