Research Assistant, Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center - Georgetown University Medical Center
The Research Assistant supports the survivorship research activities of the Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center - Cancer Prevention and Control Program. The position is associated with several grants that focus on cancer prevention and control and health services research, with a focus on cancer survivorship. The position involves the completion of general research-related tasks such as assisting with IRB, consenting and interviewing participants, transcribing interviews, coordinating with study sites, database programming and queries, and assisting in manuscripts and grant writing.
- Assists with day-to-day management of SRI pilots.
- Assists with recruitment, participant tracking, interviews.
- Assists the SRI coordinator on IRB processes, drafting documents, database queries.
- Assists with projects led by Dr. Potosky and other tasks as requested by the Principal Investigators.
- Performs literature searches and assists with grant and manuscript preparation.
- Other duties as assigned.
