PCI Compliance Program Manager

This position will manage the University's PCI Compliance program. The incumbent will coordinate efforts with departments across the University to ensure the University is operating in a PCI compliant manner. They will work with merchant banks and vendors in order to ensure that credit card processing products are PCI compliant and match the needs to University departments. The individual in this position should be highly organized and detail oriented, and be able to manage multiple projects and priorities at once. Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Oversee and manage Campus-Based Service Center PCI program.
  • Provide regular program updates and reports to Management.
  • Monitor scope of GU's merchant payment processing environment.
  • Manage and maintain all merchant payment processing-related documentation.
  • Evaluate and approve all third-party contracts involved in payment processing for the University, be it a University merchant or third- party merchant.
  • Coordinate internal resources to review, vet, and document third-party payment solutions, including gateways, processors and front-end systems and participate in contracts process from system selection through contract negotiation and renewal. This may include vetting of new technologies and engaging in mechanisms that allow us to manage and/or reduce our scope.
  • Develop and maintain a list of approved third party service providers for credit card payment mechanisms.
  • Oversee and manage PCI Compliance program, including execution of deliverables.
  • Manage engagements with outside expertise and coordinate internal resources for successful execution of all PCI deliverables.
  • Stay abreast of changes in current applicable contractual obligations and regulations including, but not limited to Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards and recommend updates to policies and program.
  • Maintain repository of program-level documentation of the process and procedures surrounding payment acceptance.
  • Perform PCI risk management.
  • Recommend, track and document remediation activities across the University.
  • Manage PCI Training environment and ensure all credit card processors are appropriately trained.

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3-5 years experience in Treasury Management
  • Experience with PCI compliance highly desired. Project management experience also desired
