IT– Systems Technology Administrator

U. S. Bankruptcy Court in Alexandria, VA is seeking a full-time, permanent Systems Technology  Administrator who will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the court unit’s information  technology servers and the judiciary’s information technology networks. The Systems Technology
Administrator performs routine administration to the servers and implements complex updates,  including developing systems documentation and data network security. The incumbent performs  server troubleshooting and triage during service failure scenarios and participates in intense  investigations to determine the root cause and develop corrective actions. The incumbent ensures  effective and efficient server maintenance and operations workflow and practices to help improve  availability and performance of systems and dependent environments. The incumbent provides  technical support to judges, judicial staff and the staff of the Clerk of Court regarding automated
and telephone systems. The incumbent is also responsible for training court personnel in the use of  automated systems. Duties also include collaborating with managers, executives, and judges locally
as well as at other court units. The incumbent provides advice on matters affecting IT security,  assists in the development and maintenance of such policy, and promotes security best practices.  This full-time, permanent position offers a salary range of $65,238 - $106,012 depending on
qualifications, education, & experience. Federal Executive Branch-type employee benefits apply to  this position.
