Work Schedule:
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
- Works closely with the TNP Director in developing, implementing, and evaluating the curriculum and therapeutic aspects of the TNP
- Shows the ability to creatively design approaches/methods that address individual and group needs
- Skilled in supporting children's social, emotion; and behavior regulation including crisis support; Proven capacity to identify concerns and needs of parents
- Demonstrates strong skills in oral and written presentation of educational and therapeutic progress reports
- Works effectively as a member of an interdisciplinary team and participates in reflective supervision
- Works with members of the larger Lourie Center organization to provide seamless system of support for the children in the TNP.
- Responsible for daily set-up of classroom and maintaining classroom supply and snack orders.
- Plans and ensures follow through of planned classroom activities (daily activities and special events)
- Coach and guides classroom team

- Knowledge of Early Childhood development
- Solid understanding of Creative Curriculum and skills expectations
- Excellent written and verbal skills.
- Excellent skills in maintaining information as highly confidential.

- Ability to consistently meet deadlines.
- Ability to maintain self-control in volatile/hostile Situations, e.g., when being verbally and/or physically confronted by a student or family member.
- Ability to set therapeutic limits and maintain therapeutic distance with students
- Ability to maintain therapeutic boundaries with children and team members
- Ability to address and prioritize multiple task demands within established time frames.
- Ability to use PC (Windows, E-Mail, Internet), telephone, copy Machine.
