The PharmNet Clinical Informatics Specialist will apply expert clinical and technical knowledge of related information systems to the management and communication of data, information and knowledge in clinical practice and administration. The actions and attitudes of the PharmNet Clinical Informatics will promote and support the hospital mission and values, and contribute to the critical success factors of the organization. The PharmNet Clinical Informatics Specialist for Adventist HealthCare applies expert knowledge of clinical and other related information systems to the management and communication of data, information and knowledge in clinical practice and administration. The PharmNet Clinical Informatics Specialist is an integral part of a team that is responsible for planning, building, testing and launching of a clinical information system (Care Excellence/Cerner Millennium). Further, this person will develop and implement clinical IT process improvement and sustainment strategies with an opportunity to support ancillary and non-nursing areas. The actions and attitudes of the PharmNet Clinical Informatics Specialist promote and support the organization's mission and values, and contribute to the critical success factors of the organization.

Qualified candidates will possess:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, minimum of five years clinical experience, and three years of progressive responsibility in information system administration including leadership and participation in implementation of a major information system.
Clinical licensure which may include one of the following: Pharmacist, Lab technologist, Radiology technologist, Respiratory Therapist and Nursing experience implementing and maintaining Cerner PharmNet services in a multi-facility environment
Experience in PharmNet Cerner solution
Ability to respond quickly to market changes, and a desire to conceive and carry out innovative changes.
Ability to create a work environment that promotes efficiency and productivity, satisfaction, growth and development, and collaboration and teamwork
Strong verbal and written skills in English, including communication skills that promote interpersonal relations and customer service
Participates in Go-Lives, downtimes and support during non-business hours
Exceptional customer service skills
Strong leadership and organization skills
Must be proficient in managing in a matrix environment and utilizing the expertise of resources who are not direct reports
Demonstrated ability to be self-directed
MUST BE Conscientious, politically astute, and diplomatic

Work Schedule:

Experience in PharmNet Cerner solution
