Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire a Home Health Aide (CNA) to assist with rising patient care needs and embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing. The Certified Nursing Assistant will provide excellent personal care to patients to maximize satisfaction according to Aide Plan of Care.

Home Health Aides (Certified Nursing Assistant) serve the following cities in the Southern Maryland region:
Bowie, Andrews, Upper Marlboro, Fairmont Heights, Suitland, District Heights, Oxon Hill, Temple Hills, Capital Heights, Clinton, Fort Washington, Waldorf, Marbury and surrounding regions.
(Based on our client needs, employees may be required to cover additional territories and drive a maximum of 30-60 miles a day)

CNA/Home Health Aide duties and responsibilities including:

• Maintains safe environment in patient's home
• Manages visiting caseload productivity within the appropriate expected time frame
• Documents care provided to meet regulatory requirements in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Consults with professional staff on patient problems and is involved with long and short-term goals that are consistent with organization's vision, mission, values and goals
• Completes continuing education and competency requirements within designated time frames as specified by Medicare conditions of participation

Qualified Certified Nursing Assistant will possess:
• Valid Maryland Board of Nursing Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
• Valid American Heart Association BLS/CPR Certification
• Valid driver's license with agency insurance requirements
• A year or more of CNA experience required
• One year of clinical experience in acute or long term care
