The Outpatient Wellness Clinic (OWC) at Adventist HealthCare Shady Grove Medical Center provides diagnostic evaluation, medication management and psychotherapy services to children, adolescents, adults and older adults with a primary psychiatric diagnosis.

The Lead Behavioral Health Therapist:
Provides individual, group and family therapy to children, adolescents and adults.
Is Responsible for the clinical oversight of the therapists at the Outpatient Wellness Clinic, ensuring smooth clinical operations, contributing to the development of the clinical program, and oversight of clinical documentation quality and compliance.
Complete psycho social assessments and provide individual, family and group therapy to children, adolescents and adults. (Case management services provided as needed)
Lead group supervision, provide case consultation to therapists as needed, crisis management when applicable, and oversight of the therapy access process

Qualified Candidates will possess:
Licensed clinical social worker (LCSW-C) or doctorate in psychology (PhD or PsyD)
Current clinical license in the state of Maryland
5-10 years of experience in direct patient care in behavioral health
Approved clinical supervisor in the state of Maryland preferred
interested in a leadership role.
Strong knowledge of psychological disorders, abnormal psychology and therapeutic modalities and interventions.
Experience providing therapy in an outpatient setting
Experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), family therapy, and supportive therapy.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Completes clinical documentation in a timely manner
Experience working with an electronic medical record
