The Needs Assessment Call Specialist:
Provide telephonic support to the needs assessment department by triaging telephone calls,
scheduling intake appointments and providing resources to callers.
Facilitate hospital to hospital transfers and obtain pre-authorizations.
Demonstrate a willingness to provide excellent service to both internal and external customers.
Perform clerical duties as assigned to ensure the efficient operation of the department.
Receives all incoming phone calls and on line inquiries from persons and providers requesting acute and outpatient clinical services
Maintain an accurate census in the office to advise referral sources of the bed availability across the division.
Schedule clinical evaluations and document when appointments are kept or missed.
Accurately maintain call tracking database.

Qualified candidates will possess:
*Bachelors degree in psychology, social work, or related human service field.
* At least one year experience in a Behavioral Health setting preferably
* Active American Heart Association BLS CPR card.
*Strong customer service skills, strong ability to communicate information in an effective and empathetic manner

Work Schedule:

Saturday & Sunday 7a-7p
