For the GS-13: Applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and complexity to the GS-12 level in the Federal service. This requirement involves demonstrated experience utilizing financial mathematics and/or statistics to analyze complex datasets; using two or more software tools to analyze complex data, such as Microsoft Excel, Access, or Structured Query Language;using one or more statistical tools such as Stata, Minitab, Statistical Analysis System (SAS) so??ware, SPSS Statistics, Eviews, or "R" environment for statistical computing and graphics; applying software languages, such as VBA, Python, C++ or Matlab to analyze datasets; and communicating findings and technical financial information through written, oral, and graphical methods to a variety of audiences across multiple levels of responsibility.

This requirement involves demonstrated experience utilizing financial mathematics and/or statistics to analyze complex financial datasets; serving as an expert in the use of and application of two or more software tools to analyze complex financial data, such as Microsoft Excel, Access, or Structured Query Language; serving as an expert in the use and application of two or more statistical tools such as Stata, Minitab, Statistical Analysis System (SAS) software, SPSS Statistics, Eviews, or "R" environment for statistical computing and graphics; applying a mastery of software languages, such as VBA, Python, C++ or Matlab to analyze datasets; and communicating findings and
complex technical financial information through written, oral, and graphical methods to a variety of audiences
across multiple levels of responsibility.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
There is no substitution for education.
Telework Suitability:
The duties of this position are suitable for occasional telework and the selectee may be allowed to telework with supervisor approval and if they meet the eligibility criterion in the 2010 Telework Act.
Stipulations of Employment:
Selection may require completion of a 1-year probationary period.
