  • Applicant qualify for this Senior Privacy Analyst, GS-0301-14 (starting salary $114,590) position if you possess at least one year of specialize experience at the GS-13 level performing the following duties:

    1. Leading a team interpreting, developing and implementing or analyzing privacy rules, regulations and programs to ensure that conformance to an organizational privacy program is met;
    2. Addressing program issues related to privacy for a variety of stakeholders in support of ensuring the release of private documentation does not occur;
    3. Advocating for an organization's position/policies in developing privacy policies or programs in alignment with new or changing legislation to establish the impact of an agency's privacy program and operations;
    4. Collaborating with multiple offices and sub components to develop, explain or resolve privacy issues; and;
    5. Writing and presenting reports and presenting program information for a range of stakeholders.

    National Service Experience (i.e., volunteer experience): Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
    Current or Former Political Appointees: The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) must authorize employment offers made to current or former political appointees. If you are currently, or have been within the last 5 years, a political Schedule A, Schedule C, Non-career SES or Presidential Appointee employee in the Executive Branch, you must disclose this information to the Human Resources Office.
