Job Summary:

Westat is seeking a qualified undergraduate intern for a summer job opportunity for a college student in the JPSM Junior Fellows Program.  The summer work will involve in questionnaire testing, drafting systems specifications, and sample preparation for a mixed mode pilot study of caregiving. The duration of this position is approximately from May 28, 2019 through August 2, 2019.

Job Responsibilities:

· Testing new web and revised CATI survey instruments. · Working with project staff on technical specifications for survey management systems and reports that tracks cases moving from one mode to the other. · Assist in preparing list sample for fielding. · Other relevant job duties as assigned.

Basic Job Qualifications:

· Must be registered as a junior-year student in a bachelor's degree program.   Must also submit a cover letter and resume. · Must be a student in the JPSM Junior Fellows program. · Applications must be submitted by April 1, 2019 to be considered for the program. Candidates must have familiarity with quantitative research methods and data analysis and strong computer skills and proficiency with MS Office. The successful candidate should be able to work both independently and in a team environment, demonstrate excellent attention to detail, and have strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
