Senior Application Architect US Citizens, Green Card Holders, and those authorized to work in the US for any employer will be considered. Our client is seeking a Senior Application Architect within the Energy Sector who will be working on several high-visibility projects within that space. This department develops, manages, and supports cyber and physical security initiatives for the protection of the entire power grid. Here's what you'll be doing Proactively working with the IT team, client team, and external vendors where appropriate to engineer and architect strategy and plans for an ecosystem of applications to support the mission Ensuring applications integrate together where needed and desired to automate business processes, provide ease of use to internal and external clients, and reduce data sprawl Working with the IT team and external vendors where appropriate to engineer and architect master data management plans and strategy for current and future flexibility Proactively collaborating with various departments, teams, and staff within IT and the client to design, configure and implement application integrations between systems including Content Management Systems, Web Portal, Customer Relationship Management Systems, Data Warehouses, and Data Lakes Working with the IT team and external vendors where appropriate to develop applications and application enhancements as identified within CRM, CMS, Web Portal and Data initiatives in support of the team Here's what our ideal candidate has Strong skills in the Microsoft technology stack, .Net Frameworks and .NET based languages preferably C, Java, Javascript, data storage technologies, SQL DBMS, NOSQL, Web Services experience (REST andor SOAP) Demonstrated experience in integration of applications (directly or through middleware), integration of datasets in disparate applications, development of applications, development of holistic technology architectures with business units to include master data management and application architecture plans, automation of business processes, development of software requirements and specifications, evaluation of software usability, participating in quality assurance teams, and developing and executing test plans Experience with XML, JSON, CSV and other prevalent data exchange formats Knowledge of database modeling and data structure principles, techniques and best practices Strong documentation skills for overall architectures, strategies, as-designed and as-built Background in the Government, Energy, or Cyber Security project management space is preferred Benefits Our IT consultants enjoy a wide array of benefits including competitive compensation, medical, dental, 401K, Employee Assistance Program and much, much more!
