    To qualify for the GS-09 grade level, Applicants must have 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, GS-07, in the Federal Service.

    Specialized Experience is defined as experience managing, analyzing or organizing information into reports.

    OR

    master's or equivalent graduate degree.

    OR

    2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree.

    OR

    LL.B. or J.D., if related.

    OR

    Equivalent combination of education and experience.

    To qualify for the GS-11 grade level, Applicants must have 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, GS-09, in the Federal Service.

    Specialized Experience is defined as experience developing audit reports or sections of audit reports to present audit findings, developing recommendations, and providing technical guidance in the development of audit plans. 

    OR

    PH.D. or equivalent doctoral degree.

    OR

    3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree.

    OR

    LL.M or J.D., if related.

    OR

    Equivalent combinations of education and experience.

    Planning and Evaluating - Organizes work, sets priorities, and determines resource requirements; determines short- or long-term goals and strategies to achieve them; coordinates with other organizations or parts of the organization to accomplish goals; monitors progress and evaluates outcomes.

    Oral Communication - Makes clear and convincing oral presentations. Listens effectively; clarifies information as needed.

    Written Communication - Writes in a clear, concise, organized, and convincing manner for the intended audience.

    The information you provide may be verified by a review of your work experience and/or education, by checking references and through other means (ex. interview).  Your evaluation may also include a review by an HR Specialist or panel and may include other assessment tools (ex. interview, structured interview, written test, work sample, etc).  The examining Human Resources Office (HRO) makes the final determination concerning applicant ratings.  Your resume MUST provide sufficient information to substantiate your vacancy question responses.  If not, the HRO may amend your responses to more accurately reflect the level of competency indicated by the content of your resume.
