Marketing Territory Rep./ Physician Liaison (Fairfax)
Fairfax Radiological Consultants (FRC), PC, is seeking candidates for the above position. This is a marketing position. It is a full-time position spending approximately 70% of the time in the field and 30% of the time at the Business Office in Fairfax. The schedule is approximately Mon Fri, 8:30am - 5pm, with occasional needs on a weekday evening or weekend day. 2 - 5 yrs of exp working in this field. Will cover a territory that includes part of Fairfax County, Arlington and Alexandria.
The account representative is expected to increase the level, frequency and quality of communication with current clients to improve satisfaction and loyalty.
Maintains a schedule of physician office visits and phone contacts for the purpose of checking on the level of satisfaction, identifying any problems in service delivery, to review new FRC service offerings as well as to check on and replenish stock of referral pads and FRC sponsored patient literature.
Strategically visits all of the top clients and offices based on pre-determined frequency schedule while as well as clients/offices demonstrating a significant positive or negative referral trend.
Assists with resolution of MD office complaints, working with the appropriate FRC managers and provides exceptional customer service by providing prompt and thorough resolutions. Reports all problems/ proposed resolution to Chief Marketing Officer as well as for inclusion in CQI process/reporting.
Organizes meet & greets with targeted practices and FRC radiologists for education and promotion of key strategies. This includes handling room reservations, menu planning, set-up, and promotion (invites, telephone calls, brochures, displays, etc...).
Shares responsibility with the Chief Marketing Officer for growing FRC's referral volume and revenue. Gathers market intelligence for action and/or informational purposes to assist with operations and marketing efforts.
Demonstrates an increase in referrals and referral sources through effective targeting, qualifying, presentation, overcoming objections, closing and follow-through with targets.
Contacts all physician targets, make presentations to decision-makers, gains commitment and follows-through on all requests and issues.
Works within assigned territory and focus on key strategies.
Monitors referral patterns by physician and modality, Identifies non-referring and/or low referring practices and schedules appointments with the office managers/ physicians and recommend adaptive strategies.
Reports market intelligence to Chief Marketing Officer for inclusion in marketing reports or ad-hoc reports to leadership.
Organizes work to effectively balance inside demands (tracking, follow-through, appointment scheduling, internal meetings) and outside demands (appointments, prospecting, service follow-through).
Makes monthly visits to FRC outpatient Offices to assure that all FRC sponsored patient literature is appropriately displayed and stocked.
Provides a concise summary of activities, findings and outcomes at supervisory meetings.
Punctual and prepared for all meetings.
Uses the marketing CRM database to manage relationships and track physician interaction and outcomes. Database should be updated weekly at a minimum.
Assists the Chief Marketing Officer with projects as assigned.
Bachelor's Degree and either previous healthcare marketing experience or clinical background.
Must be able to access, input and retrieve information from the computer and central file system on a constant basis throughout the day.
Must have exceptional communication skills; active listener, extremely articulate and an effective writer.
Able to independently manage many projects at once.
Above average skill with MS Word, Excel, Internet Explorer and Outlook.
Experience with contact management or CRM databases preferred.
Must be able to transport yourself to numerous sites as part of job requirement.
Must be able to reach, bend and continuously move throughout the office as well as remain in a stationary position throughout the day.
Must be able to handle up to 40 pounds for normal office operations.
