Clearance US Citizen wability to obtain clearance The Web Designer Developer designs, develops, troubleshoots, configures and maintains the Companyrsquos website, intranet, and other web products intended for both for internal and external audiences. Job Duties Architecting, developing, and maintaining dynamic, professionally-designed and architected websites and intranet sites for the Company and its subsidiaries and affiliated entities. Responsible for both the technical and creative elements required to improve rankings, drive traffic, and increase awareness of both our internal and external facing web presence. Present designs and key deliverables to peers and executive stakeholders. Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards for User Experience (UX) and development. Working with the Companyrsquos marketing and communications department, and its business leaders and line managers, to design the Company website and intranet, including but not limited to site architecture, page layout, graphics, photography, and color schemes. Working with the Companyrsquos marketing and communications department to create effective web tools for marketing, branding, and visual identity. Creating, updating, and managing a library of digital content that can be used for the Companyrsquos web products. Working with appropriate members of the Companyrsquos Enterprise IT department to ensure strong security for our firmrsquos external facing websites and intranet Developing and executing effective strategies for disseminating Company marketing and presentations on the web. Developing, implementing, monitoring, and assessing strategies for greater audience penetration for website, intranet, and other web products. Researching, evaluating and integrating new technologies into the Companyrsquos communication strategy. Soliciting, hiring, and managing outside consultants and vendors, as required. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computing, Graphic Arts, Computer Graphics, Graphic Design, Media Production, Marketing or a related field. Four years of additional experience may be substituted in lieu of education. Three to five years of related web development and design experience (seven to 12 years if candidate has no bachelorrsquos degree). Demonstrated experience in Content Management Systems (Work Press (preferred), Drupal, Joomla etc.). Demonstrated expertise in web page editing (HTML, PHP). Demonstrated proficiency with various social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, Flickr, etc.). Ability to work alone and collaboratively with others in an open and creative environment. Excellent verbal communication, presentation, design, writing and interpersonal skills. Excellent time management skills. Demonstrated skills and qualifications in JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, HTML5, CSS, CSS3, Verbal Communication, Web User Interface Design (UIUX), Web Services (RESTSOAP), Multimedia Content Development, API's Knowledge of SEO and website analytics. Desired Qualifications Masterrsquos Degree in Computer Science, Computing, Graphic Arts, Computer Graphics, Graphic Design, Media Production, Marketing or a related field. Marketing or advertising agency experience. Experience in non-profit development andor management. Experience in video production, fine art, photography, or another creative field. Experience in the Aerospace, Defense, and Government Services Industry. Government security clearance or the ability to attain one.
