Perform DBA duties for Oracle (PostgreSQL and MySQLMariaDB possible) in AWS cloud Collaborate with software development team, business analysists and other members of the Data team in an Agile environment Design, develop, implement and maintain code in data-centric environments Evaluate, cleanse, and transform data to meet Data Quality standards Create, maintain, deploy and debug Pentaho ETL scripts Comply with security requirements and policies Conduct work within a regimented Agile lifecycle approach Required Qualifications Bachelors in Computer Science or Mathematics or Information Systems Understanding of SQL, database design and implementation strategies Understanding of EDW environments with RDBMS Must be able to perform database tuning on an RDBMS (Oracle, MySQL) Able to communicate and translate business needs into technical designs and documents in both written and oral channels Experience with consuming Data Flow Diagram (DFD) Level 01 Oracle Database Administration Pentaho PDI ETL SQL and PLSQL LinuxUnix CLI Desired Qualifications Understanding of data modeling, big data environments, and database design Knowledge of scalable Agile development practices and release management (SAFe). Understanding andor experience working with relational (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and non-relational database technologies Source control systems (svn or git) Bourne or bash shell scripting Python scripting a plus ER Modeling a plus JIRA and Confluence a big plus Must be able to obtain a security clearance.
