IT Concepts Inc. is seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Functional Analyst to join our team in support of our client in Washington DC or Reston, VA. The individual we are looking for will help our customer analyze business and technical processes to formulate, provide testing support and develop new and modified business information processing systems supporting human capital management programs. As a PeopleSoft Analyst you will provide support to define requirements, user acceptance testing, conduct market research on enabling technologies, and assist in the full software development life cycle processes to implement the appropriate technology solution for the customer. In addition, you will coordinate with business and technology teams and ascertaining system requirements, such as program functions, data input and output requirements, and system techniques and controls. Possess in-depth knowledge of HRMS, computer system capabilities, business processes, and work flow are required. This candidate will directly interface with our client to deliver PeopleSoft modulesmodifications. This candidate must have exceptional people and facilitation skills. The position requires analytical detail, effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teams and effectively interact with business process owners. Responsibilities Provide subject matter expertise in PeopleSoft HCM Modules (CORE and Talent Acquisition) Provide subject matter expertise in Federal HR, specifically - Personnel Action Processing, Benefits Processing, Position Management, and Recruiting and Hiring Keep abreast of Federal HR PoliciesProcedures Research system defects and enhancements determine system impacts and communicate with client Develop design and requirements documentation Write test scripts and conduct system test Track enhancement requests defects in ticket tracking tool Present enhancements defects and help to prioritize with client Assist change team with completing training and communication updates Work with developers on completing system enhancements and defects Answer and research system questions Work with assigned consulting resource to learn the systems development life cycle (SDLC) process. Decomposing high-level business and user-defined requirements into system functional requirements and functional design documents Defining quality attributes, interfaces, constraints and other non-functional requirements Participating with team members in prioritization of identified requirements Excellent functional documentation skills Completing requirements analysis and verification, ensuring that requirements statements are complete, consistent, traceable, unambiguous, feasible and verifiable Required Minimum 3 yearsrsquo experience in PeopleSoft HCM Modules (CORE and Talent Acquisition) Experience in one or more of the following applications Core Human Resources, Talent Acquisition Management (TAM), Benefits Administration, Payroll, Time and Labor, or Absence Management Demonstrated experience in participating in one or more Oracle implementation upgrades in recent versions (ie 9.1 or higher) Federal HR experience to include personnel action processing (PAR), manageremployee self-service, and compensation.
