RN Unit Coordinator-Radiology Intake and Recovery
Sentara RMH Medical Center, a Magnet designated hospital located in Harrisonburg VA, is currently seeking an RN Unit Coordinator for the Radiology Intake and Recovery area.
Full Time Rotating Day Shift (40 hours per week)
Monday to Friday
â€‹Call is from 4:30p to 6a M-F. Saturday and Sunday call is 24 hours. Typically do one call night during week and every fourth weekend.
Interventional Radiology is looking for a Lead RN who loves to work in a fast pace environment, with flexible 40 hour work week. The IR department is a team driven environment as the nurse will cover 7 different imaging modalities, working with radiologists, vascular surgeons, and imaging technicians.
The RN will provide moderate sedation for patients undergoing procedures such as, biopsies, drain placements, fistulagrams, arteriograms & pulmonary embolism thrombolysis to list a few. Provides care for the in-patient and out-patient population. Come join our IR team and learn new skills!
This position requires 18 months nursing experience and a BSN. Preferred candidates will have ACLS, stroke, moderate sedation, ED, CCU, or PCU experience.

18 months nursing experience required. BSN required; Master degree preferred, if the graduate degree is not in nursing then the BSN is required. Meets any requirements defined by specific specialty. BLS required within 90 days of hire. Professional Specialty Nursing Certification preferred.
Demonstrates proficiency in nursing practice for assigned specialty area and provides clinical leadership for the delivery of nursing care in a department. Under the direction of the department manager leads safety and quality initiatives, focuses on and simplifies workflow, and contributes to the development of staff. Increase staff satisfaction and promotes excellent (Gold Standard) customer service.
RN-Bachelor's Level Degree OR
