ME Flow is looking for experienced HVAC SERVICE TECHNICIANS to service the Alexandria or Leesburg area. The HVAC Service Technician visits customer homes to install, repair and/or maintain HVAC systems. This position requires a great deal of customer interaction as the technician must understand the customer?s problem and be able to effectively communicate the diagnosis and proposed solutions. Responsibilities: ? Provide maintenance and repair air conditioning and heating equipment and systems ? Replace compressors, blower fans, motors, and miscellaneous parts for HVAC units as directed. ? Keep maintenance records on HVAC units and customers as required. ? Resolve issues in a timely manner. ? Communicate and educate customers regarding their HVAC system ? Follow established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties, including lifting, climbing, etc. ? Correct unsafe conditions in work area and report any conditions that are not correctable to supervisor immediately. ? Occasional overtime or shift work required Minimum Requirements: ? Minimum 6 years experience in HVAC field service or installation ? Strong knowledge of HVAC systems ? Strong diagnostic skills ? Experience with mechanical system troubleshooting using various tools and test instruments ? Excellent verbal communication skills ? Ability to discuss technical issues with a non technical person ? Ability to lift or manipulate heavy equipment ? Ability to climb tall ladders and work in tight places ? Ability to work in extreme weather conditions ? Honesty, proficiency, integrity and a good work ethic. ? Candidates must have valid license and clean driving record. ?
