Little is seeking aSeniorElectrical Engineer with a positive, collaborative work style to join ourArlington, VA office. Proven experience should include most of the following project types: financial services, office, interior renovation, civic, education, high tech, mission critical/data centers, and healthcare. Position responsibilities: Using your passion for innovative design, problem-solving, and critical thinking Leading strong client relationshipsGenerating and evaluating design options from the earliest stages of a projectOverseeing and performing project work in all phasesProviding drawing coordination and technical oversight for project activities with clients, staff, and consultantsPerforming site observations, reviewing shop drawings and material submittals and other related construction administration tasksMentoring staffParticipating in project pursuits and/or interviews Candidates will have some or all of the following Qualifications: Registered Electrical Engineer, willing to become registered in additional states (NCEES record a plus)Minimum 7-10 years of professional experience in design of power distribution, fire alarm, low voltage/IT, lighting, and controls systemsProficiency with RevitExcellent communication skillsKnowledge of building, energy, and electrical codes to generate construction documentsProven CA experience, including successful field engineering to resolve conflicts and issuesAbility to perform assessments of existing buildingsLighting Design/photometrics experience a plusBICSI Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) a plusExperience with LEED and/or WELL Certified Projects and passion for Sustainability (LEED and/or WELL Accredited a plus) Our culture is energetic, collaborative and open.
