The ideal candidate for this opportunity will be an ambitious, creative person looking to significantly improve the performance of our clients through a creative and collaborative process. The individual selected for this opportunity will work as part of a multidisciplinary design team to develop breakthrough ideas and creative solutions for our Retail clients. A candidate we'll love: You are a resourceful and creative problem solver- you can lead and manage projects and construction administration tasks on a wide range of project sizes, including large scale multi-phased projects; You're a good teammate- you understand how to work with and coordinate consulting partners and many moving parts to deliver a solid, final product;You're good with people- a strong listener, respectful in your interactions with others and have a positive outlook on life, and you're a good mentor to junior teammates;You're a good communicator- people understand your ideas, both verbally and in written form;You are organized and thorough- you're familiar with building codes, and you can develop code summary and life safety documentation, and coordinate permit submissions;You are experienced in construction - you can work successfully with construction partners, perform shop drawing reviews, material submittals and other related construction administration tasks;You have professional drive and still have fun while you work. A position you'll love: You'll be working in our dedicated Retail studio with other professionals dedicated to Retail;You'll have a high degree of autonomy and responsibility;You'll work directly with clients;You'll lead, work with, and coordinate projects to meet project requirements, budgets and schedules;You'll be responsible for producing contract documents and construction administration;You'll be accountable for project success. Ideal candidates will have the following Qualifications: A professional Architecture degree (5-6 yr.) from an accredited university;Architectural registration preferred;10+ years' experience, Hospitality experience a plus; Strong technical expertise, including knowledge of building codes and understanding of various project delivery methods including design/bid, negotiated contracts, IPD, design/build and CM at risk; Strong Understanding of industry standards; Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit;Excellent communication (verbal and written), organizational, and client relationship skills;Motivated self-starter who works well in a collaborative team environment.
