- Ability to represent DLA at high-level meetings with key officials of the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), the Military Services, Defense agencies, and industry, and in national and international conferences on matters of interest to the Agency and DoD.
- Experience establishing business plans for executing assigned projects, managing resources and personnel, and coordinating contract and consulting help to bring projects to a successful conclusion within budget and on time.
The incumbent of this position will be required to sign a written agreement to remain in this key leadership position for a minimum of 3 years.

The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) has established a Drug-Free Federal Workplace Policy. All applicants tentatively selected for DLA employment in a testing designated position are subject to urinalysis to screen for illegal drug use prior to appointment.
