Mammography Technologist, Per Diem, Day Shift

The Mammography technologist has a level of expertise in performing mammograms. This person will also be able to ensure compliance for state and federal regulations under the direction of the Senior Mammography Technologist and Radiologists. Should be experienced in performing breast screenings, diagnostic exams, and needle localizations.
Qualified candidates will possess:
•\tHigh school or GED
•\tGraduate of an accredited School of Radiography
•\tCertified by the American registry of Radiologic Technologists in Mammography
•\tLicensed by the State of Maryland
•\tValid BLS-CPR certification from the American Heart Association
•\tAbility to work independently and handle a multi-task environment
•\tStrong customer service skills
•\tStrong organizational skills
The position is day shift and two or three days a week. 7:30 am - 4:00 pm Monday, Tuesday and Thursday preferred. There is some flexibility in the days and hours.
