This opportunity involves working directly with first responders, field operators, and warfighters to develop and integrate innovative solutions to meet their mission critical problems the product suite includes mobile application development, dynamic GIS-dashboard development and an innovative messaging router. You will provide hands-on software design and development expertise for multiple programming languages and system environments, collaborate with other team members project sponsors, and government personnel to devise practical solutions to problems. Additionally, there are opportunities to provide field engineering support at experiments and exercises conducted by project sponsor and partners. Required 10 yearsrsquo experience in direct programming and development, with progressive ownership of individual tasks Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills Ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies to ever changing problems Direct AWS Dev experience using Api GW, Lambda, ECSEKS, ELB Experience with serverlessmicro services like Docker, AWS Lambda, Kubernetes, "Serverless" (the platform) etc. DevOps expertise using tools like Jenkins or AWS Code Deploy CICD experience guiding teams in the adoption and improvement of DevOps practices Experience with Agile development practices experience leading teams in Agile development activities and exploiting these practices to improve development time Expertise in principles of object-oriented software design and programming At least five yearsrsquo experience with .Net Core, ASP.NET, C, andor other modern programming languages Understanding of relational database design technologies such as PostGreSQL and mySQL Experience with Internet technologies such as HTTP, AJAX, REST web services, and related emerging web standards Comfortable working in both Windows and Linux Knowledge and experience with object serialization using both XML and JSON 5 yearsrsquo experience writing and presenting technical material in the form of proposals, white papers, test plans and reports, technical reports, and presentations.
