ASRC Federal is seeking a VP, Business Development to lead our Infrastructure Support and Professional Services (ISPS) Business Development team. Reporting directly to the Sr. Vice President, Corporate Business Development, this executive will partner with ISPS leadership to drive the organization's strategic growth objectives by developing and refining an understanding of customers' most important needs, leading organic growth activities and executing capture strategies. With responsibility for a staff of business development professionals focused on providing Professional Services as well as Infrastructure and Facility O&M solutions in FedCiv, DoD and National Security domains (Intelligence Community), the selected individual will be held accountable for their BD team's identification, qualification and successful capture of business development opportunities as well as generation of qualified pipeline growth necessary to meet or exceed the Operating Group's forecast and plan. In addition, this individual will plan and recommend BD and marketing strategies to achieve maximum customer/market penetration and to drive tactical and strategic growth. The position is located in Beltsville, MD, but may require frequent travel to company and/or Customer locations.. Specific responsibilities include:. Develop the ISPS new business pipeline, opportunity identification, qualification, shaping, strategy and positioning activities leading to the successful capture of multiple, often times simultaneous opportunities. Ideal candidate will have a proven record of success in building, bringing together, and leading a team of business development professionals to be successful in identifying, qualifying and closing enough deals to support the strategic growth of a $320M+ Operating Group.. Grow the opportunity pipeline, to include existing as well as adjacent markets/customers, through diligent and timely identification/qualification of new business opportunities by leveraging current technologies, customer relationships, and inter-company collaboration. Develop and execute strategic and tactical plans for the pursuit and successful capture of key opportunities. Oversee major capture activities for the ISPS Operating Group to include managing and developing a team of capture managers in the organization. Obtain marketing intelligence and competitive data pertaining to potential targeted pursuits, and develop associated marketing strategiesConduct customer visits and perform research to understand current and emerging customer needs and requirements. Participate in bid decisions, development of cost strategies and phase reviews. Establish, build, and maintain customer relationships and assess competitor capabilities aligned to specific customers such as the USAF, Army, DOJ, DHS and select customers in the intelligence community. Work collaboratively with multiple components of the larger ASRC Federal enterprise, to include other Operating Groups, Shared Services and the ASRC Federal Senior Leadership Team to ensure appropriate policies and procedures are adhered to and bids are adequately resourced and supported.. Support creation and execution of multi-year organic growth strategies. Participate in S&A and B&P planning as well as overhead budgets. Bachelor's Degree in a technical or business-related discipline; Master's Degree a plus. Minimum of 12 years of relevant BD experience. Demonstrated success as a business development leader with experience in Intelligence, and/or National Security services domains in support of a line of business with at least $320M in revenue. Business Development/Capture Experience in Professional Services (non-IT) markets a plusAbility to identify, establish and use important customer relationships with senior level officials and program stakeholders within FedCiv, Defense and intelligence community. Demonstrated success in leading and winning contracts >$100M. Experience leading opportunity captures, including: developing overall win strategy; developing teaming strategies, identifying and executing teaming agreements; understanding of pricing and ability to assist in developing winning price. Demonstrated background in solution selling, developing new markets, with proven leadership from inception to fruition of a strategic campaign. Experience directing and supporting new business development opportunities to improve the company's business portfolio to include marketing and customer call plans. Ability to develop, document, and execute a plan for achieving awards/growth. Knowledge of Government contracting, current acquisition trends and customer buying behaviors. Knowledge of competitors and ability to model competitor behaviors in the market. Experience in budget management of S&A, B&P, IRAD and overhead dollars. Excellent writing, communication skills with experience presenting to senior executives and customers. Proven experience leading large geographically diverse teams; strong coaching and mentoring skills; ability to achieve results through others.. Active TS/SCI level clearance. Must be a US Citizen. Additional Desired Qualifications:. Familiarity with Alaska Native Corporations and experience with 8(a) set aside new business development and capture. Proven business development experience in DOD Intelligence market; INSCOM O&M Army Intelligence - Electronic Warfare (IEW) acquisition; Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence (C4I) Operations; Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC).
