ENTERPRISE ARCHITECT The Enterprise Architect is responsible for the creation, maintenance and management of system architecture and their lower level components. The EA will provide technical direction in terms of how solutions are designed, developed and integrated. The EA will help ensure that the business, application, data and technology perspectives are in line with the technology strategy and will help establish architecture guidelines and technology roadmaps. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Provide Enterprise wide application and technical architecture governance, guidelines, requirements, reviews and direction Recommend and participate in the analysis, evaluation and development of enterprise long-term strategic and product plans to ensure that the EA objectives are consistent with the enterprisersquos long-term business objectives Define and oversee architecture framework proposed for opportunities Enforce architecture and security standards in solutions and products Provide technology direction and guidance on proposed technical solutions and provide hands-on system design leadership Recommend and participate in the design and implementation of standards, tools and methodologies Analyze portfolio of existing products and provide technical recommendations including on integration, technology enhancements, performance, architecture frameworkbull Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) to business, operations and technology teams on technology topics Demonstrate expertise in multiple areas of technology (software, hardware, security, data architecture, component based architecture, application and web architectures, network) providing a one-stop technical architecture resource. Share best practices, lessons learned and constantly updates the technical system architecture requirements based on changing technologies, and knowledge related to recent, current and upcoming vendor products and solutions. Act as an internal technical consultant leveraging knowledge and skills across multiple technology offerings and multiple opportunities Advise internal organizations on implementation options and impact from a technical and business perspective. Challenge existing solutions and suggest new and innovative enhancements that will improve the product offerings. Support review and analysis tool vendor selection process from both a technology and financial perspective Establish strong working relationships with the business, operations and other technology team members EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 7 years of solid systems and enterprise level architecture experience. Must have proven in-depth knowledge of system architecture and software engineering and be able to rely on experience and judgment to plan, make recommendations, and accomplish goals 5 years of solid programming and database experience. Working experience with C, .Net. Minimum 2 years of application architecture with technical lead type experience in a large project environment using cutting edge technologies Ability to quickly understand technology issues and troubleshoot solutions Experience in data conversionmigration and ETL process Good and demonstrable experience in analyzing, architecting, and knowledge transferring to project teams Experience in using, developing and documenting methodologies supporting System Development Life Cycles (SDLC) Working experience with Microservices and SOA Working experience with one or more mainstream middleware solutions supporting an overall data synchronization strategybull Experience with various data architectures Good working knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools Knowledge of architecture methodologies, standards and tools Solid operating system knowledge (eg Microsoft Windows Server, UNIXLinux) Bachelorrsquos degree in a technical field such as computer science or electrical engineering SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS Strong communication, writing, and documentation skills Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment Experience working with offshore teams TOGAF Certification preferred
