A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in construction management, engineering, architecture, planning, public or business administration, facilities management or a related field; an advanced degree in the above subjects or related fields is preferred.
A minimum of ten (10) years of capital projects, design, planning, project management, and facilities management experience. At least six (6) of those years must have been spent working on government projects in positions of substantial management responsibility.
Project management training and/or PMP or similar certification in related profession.
To qualify you must provide evidence of progressively responsible leadership experience that is indicative of senior executive level leadership and management capability and directly related to the skills and abilities outlined under Court Executive Service Core Qualifications (CESCQ) listed below and the duties associated with this position. Typically, experience of this nature will have been gained at or above the GS/JS-15 grade level in the federal/DC Court service or its equivalent in the public/private sector. Candidates must possess senior level construction management and technical experience. Candidates experience must have been at a high level of difficulty to show clearly that the candidate possesses the professional and technical, as well as program knowledge, skills, and abilities outlines under the five CESCQ. Failure to meet the basic qualifications and address the CESCQ factors automatically disqualifies an applicant.
