Job Description

A mid-size trade association that provides life insurance and annuities to active duty and retired military personnel is seeking an experience Customer Service Representative with life insurance experience to exist new and current members. Responsibilities include:

  • Assist customers with general inquires via phone and email
  • Work with members to successfully move applications through the application process
  • Document correspondence with members clearly and concisely
  • Request and secure required information or documentation from member per underwriter’s instruction
  • Perform preliminary audits of application information to ensure data provided by member at submission is accurate
  • Follow up with members on missing documentation
  • Actively collect feedback from members and propose solutions or improvements for any problems identified to the management team
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional demeanor, strong work ethic
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to learn quickly
  • 2 years' call center/customer services experience
  • Life Insurance experience
  • Insurance certifications such as FLMI, CLU, ACS, or PCS preferred
