Military Design Blueprint Analyst

Key Role:

Identify, analyze, and evaluate complex and highly sensitive military systems, policies, processes, and instrumentation related to foreign threats and homeland security. Determine the types and capacities of systems, including aircraft, spacecraft, sensors, and missiles, infrastructure, such as bases, ranges, and launch complexes, and human capital, such as people, education, and skills the future force needs to meet national defense strategy according to future concepts. Conduct, lead, or direct studies and analyses. Collect and synthesize the results of studies and analyses. Prepare written presentations and written reports summarizing findings and recommendations. Collaborate across the design blueprint team to define overall force needed.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with military concept development, strategy development, strategic planning, or strategic assessments

-Experience with developing and validating assumptions for detailed military concepts of operations

-Knowledge of the Air Force's Strategy, Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (SPPBE) processes

-Knowledge of Joint requirements processes, including the Joint Capability Integration Development System (JCIDS)

-TS/SCI clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with serving as an Air Force officer or Senior Non-Commissioned Officer (SNCO) in a Headquarters Air Force or Major Command assignment

-MA or MS degree
